We’re excited to introduce a brand-new feature on ChartGo: Clone Your Chart!

Until now, ChartGo gave you three powerful ways to share your charts:

• Save Your Chart: Save a private link to open and view your chart.
• Share Your Chart: Share a view-only link with others — no edits allowed.
• Embed Your Chart: Generate code to display your chart on any website.
• Now there’s more! With the new Clone Your Chart feature, you can share a chart with others and let them create their own version — without affecting your original chart.

Why is this awesome?

Imagine you're a teacher who designs a sample bar chart for a classroom activity. Instead of asking each student to rebuild the chart from scratch, you can send them the Clone link. Each student can then modify their own copy — adjusting data, titles, colors, and more — while your original chart stays untouched.

This is perfect for:

• Teachers preparing editable templates for students
• Teams collaborating on project charts
• Friends working on group data projects
• Anyone who wants to provide a “starting point” for others!

How it works:

• After creating your chart, click on Save and Generate your chart in the Link section.
• Copy the Clone Your Chart link.
• Share the link by email, chat, or post it anywhere.
• When someone clicks the clone link, they will see your chart, but editable — and any changes they make will be saved to their own version, not yours.

Important: Cloning creates a completely new chart ID. Your original chart remains exactly as you created it.
